In today’s current society where hopelessness and despair is on the minds of most Americans because of the economic state there are some who live with deeper hurts and problems that started long before the current recession. Those who live in the world without Christ lean on drugs, sex, and worldly pleasures. It is only through the love and salvation of Jesus Christ that we find hope and peace. Robert Davis came out of such a world that started when he was only a child. It was also when he was a child that he was first introduced to Jesus. Most of us come to faith in a church but Pastor Robert Davis met Jesus as a child when he was being horribly abused by those who were suppose to protect him. Jesus was his protector instead. It was only by the love of Christ that Pastor Davis has survived abuse, torment, torture, and every abuse known to man and some that no man should ever know, let alone as a child.
